One day I met a lie

And I let it inside

I never realised it was not on my side

It's funny how tall we build our castle walls

The higher they go up the further we all have to fall

And I was quick to judge yeah

Quick to point the finger

Now all i see is myself staring me in the mirror

How do we humble ourselves if we can't take the rain

If we can find no beauty in the pain

Then we are unchanged and it was in vain
