I am not the enemy, but I am not a friend

Somewhere in the midst is a person I can't comprehend

And I'm up bright and early, the morning makes me mad,

Spewing nonexistent words out

Feeling dark inside

And I know it all too well

We are not the remedy, but we are not the plague

Every diagnosis is always something all too vague

And anytime I wonder "What happens in my core?"
