I stretched my hand out, you were no longer there

The candles had long burned out, I awoke from a nightmare

Were you the one, stealing all my light

Are you a shadow, in my head at night

Where are you now, during the daylight

Are you casting spells, while we sleep at night

The darkness fading fast, as the sun comes into view

The ocean tides roll slow, and the sky is turning blue

The dust of ancient things, and the old ones still alive
