Look, I know the road looks long but I can't rest, no surprises

The windswept branches vocalising

Pointed fingers poke the lion

Feel the catch in your throat from choking, crying

I'm on another journey, early, the wheels turning again

The barriers eroded the enemies and the friends

Scraping for the hope that's ahead of me in the end

'Cos if I was never right then there's nothing left to defend

I'm on the edge of giving up, I know I've bitten off a lot

The apple in my eye became a symbol of the rot

Everything that I've already lost with the plot
