I can't believe it's happening artists from my youth are back on tour

I thought that they passed on but now you know I'm really not so sure

People are discovering the music that I cherished long ago

I've got my hopes set really high that they will see the genius of Nick Lowe

Some say a one hit wonder is enough to give you shelter from the storm

But things like this have happened long before kids like me were born

And Nick's not such a bad guy go listen and I'm sure that you will find

That he's not really cruel you know the concept was all inside his mind

I think Lincoln said it best when he made that little speech upon the stage

He said the world will little note what I say here they'll only turn the page
