One With The Land

There's a fox squirrel that likes to cling to my coat

It'll hide in my beard nuzzled next to my throat

Not to gloat, but I've been gifted acorns and rocks

While you've been concerned about banking and stocks

I'm one with my environment one with the land

I'm in tune with these animals, a chain of command

That you would know nothing about, city man

These critters can speak but can you understand

Your lack of a concious is shameful to see

Complete and utter mockery, you choose to be

A slave to ideas that you never had

I work for the good and yet it pays to be bad
