In the beginning was Adam and Eve, we know how that story goes

Way back in Eden, an apple was eaten, Eve is to blame, oh we know

The snake came to tempt her and she took a bite, Gave it to Adam and so

All of eternity forever changed, the world without sin we don't know

We blame the past, for who we are

It's all Eve to blame, this whole world's her fault

But when I look back, if it were me

I'd eat the apple, I'd eat the apple from that tree

From each generation we've all made mistakes, Adam and Eve was just the one

But by God's forgiveness we all have been saved, but sin oh it comes and it goes
