This morning when I woke up it took me time to stretch my legs out

It wasn't like before when I could get up and run two miles about

Opening the cabinet's another chore to do

and I'm sure you can relate to what I'm going through

Connect the mind to the body and no more problems should ensue

And If I'm too old to party then where is the broken glass?

'cause it didn't come and stop me when my foot was on the gas

Another day another story another postcard to annoy me

My honey says slow down, I'm going too fast
