New year's resolutions never changed anyone

'Cause my room is still messy and head is still heavy and

I still can't rhyme

And I wrote in a journal that I'd go outside more and see the sunshine

But the weather report recommends that I stay online

And the traffic in my head jams up every evening when five o'clock comes

When the day hasn't stopped and the night won't begin and I've

Worn out my thumbs

And the only thing I see are people whose people know how to have fun

All my days washed away, wishing I could be someone
