See, I was living like a tramp, I had no food and no cash

Brought a good amount in don't wanna bring broke back

I was 18, living off baked beans

Always had the same jeans never had my own graft

Now I got my own flat, now I got my own path

Now I got my own bed, now I got my own bath

Man, I swear I was hurting, that's a known fact

Picked myself up and now I know I'll never go back

Started off moving at my mum's house, we were feeling rundown

Guess I probably should be moving on now

Moved a couple miles back to my hometown

Working part-time, also living in a post house
