When I Wake

It's strange to say these days

You haven't occupied my mind

I guess it's true, the most important thing that heals is time

We're benching in the park

Discussing plans to fly to Spain

The colors that surround me there are bright orange and green

I feel it all and even catch the taste of jalapenos in my mouth

Oh, I can't wait to head down south
