At The Crossroads

Staring up there at the moon as a million stars stare back

I hear a lonesome freight train riding down an endless track

Oh, the rhythm of its wheels rolling for the great unknown

Some people find a home and stay, but I'm always on the roam

Standing at the crossroads, which way do you choose

The high roads and the low roads both have their points and views

Direction takes you left or right, decisions turn out right or wrong

And all I know is life's too short and the road's too long
