I've been looking for kindness, I've been implementing it where love doesn't stay

Never learned from birth about healthy communication or boundaries, I spent my time predicting and anticipating when something was wrong and then acting on those, quote on quote, "instincts" to prevent wildfires. This is an empathic syndrome

I heard Generational trauma is not solely about the tangible gains of rising in class but also about the ways we redistribute our own capacities of love, and show up for ourselves, an interwoven reliance of self-to-surrounding, an exchange in which we inherently benefit because our community and environment benefits.

That feeling

Those experiences inside my body

That's knowledge, that's information

Processing that what you thought could be was not. Accepting that the place you came to for family didn't know how to foster it to begin with. It wasn't your job, and you won't miss out
