Downward spiral (look loud)

Downward spiral, here I go, lesson learned, must burn to keep depression gone

Madness, had this been prevented, like the stress within, then again, this is just who

I am

Accepting the very nature of all that came around when, I was, simply living my life

Side by side, those who raised me, can't save me, only I can save myself, and when I can't

Hold my own, I think of all the happy thoughts that came before, and many more beyond this

Current negative door, for all in all, I've been in more than half a dozen different families

Before eighteen, and afterwards, raised more than one woman's kids until I had my own

When promises get loose, far gone, every family torn apart, so easy to blame myself

As if, every moment of failure was all my fault, dealing with manic depression, up down
