Family Vacation

I been gettin better at just managin my time cuz everything seems clear these days

But even when I'm gettin it I feel like I'm forgettin somethin cuz it's been a minute since I've seen your face

If only I could teleport I'd be on your doorstep in the mornin and we'd finally get a chance to catch up

These long times apart, yeah they're hard on the heart, stay strong cuz they're really only here to test us

And I've been thinkin bout a better day I'm picturin the family together all in one time one place

With all the time we need to reconnect, enjoy a little livin, just chill, we aint runnin no race

Pops on the grill, Mom's got her feet up, all the grandkids runnin wild in the yard

I'll be in the kitchen makin margaritas, puffin cigars, while Tom Tom plays the guitar

Put the world on pause for a minute cuz you know we back in it when we board that flight back home

I'ma be right here for a minute where it's good for the soul, slow down, let's stay in this zone

Cuz I've been goin hard for a long time, doin alright, but the world stay's playin my patience

Think we all need a few days for the love, yeah it's time to get up for the family vacation
