I been far from home, I been on my own

I been in my head, I been searching long, I was never strong

I was never dead, never in the wrong, man was I ever wrong

Did this on my own felt so far from home

Mind was my menace but now its my friend, tamed it and now we decide to defend

I choose to live a life loving my friends, I'm choosing more than a life filled with dread

The love of those for me they gave me my chance, had to break down before building again
