i hate words

I hate words, isn't that ironic

They're what makes me feel worst, and makes the pain non chronic

Why do people say things that they don't really mean

It fucks me up for lifetimes that can't bare to be foreseen

Spitting words like flames that burn forevermore

Here I thought fires were meant to keep me warm

The way they cheat me, the way they linger in my head

They're the one thing to ever feel permanent

When they're gone it's like I have nothing left

I hate words

But most of all I hate how I keep falling for them
