It's such a simple concept yet so profound

Sorry I've been snappy, I'm trying to be present

My head gets so hectic, no religion, so music my confession

I put my dark secrets on display And oddly enough, that's when I finally felt acceptance

It taught me that we're not so different after all I'm not so special after all, no happily ever after

That's after all, but there's real moment's a bliss Like

the first time holding your kid, right

Or your woman even blowing a kiss Having true friends and growing with them

Paying back debts cause you owe it to them

It's been a tough one, not to hate myself
