Laundry Alone

You might have seen me in the back I'm here most Saturdays 'round nine

It takes a while for me to wash and dry then sort and fold up mine

I saw today you were a little bit late, not in your usual place

You said 'hello' but I'm shy you know, kind of set in my ways

But if you don't mind

Would you help me through a heavy load or two?

And tell me why tumble dry is hard on delicates and something new?

I checked the labels for signs

Is it hot or cold or warm?

And will I see the shade of your eyes?
