What can you say tonight? That would be new to me

I've heard just about every excuse from you. From your working late to your car ran out of gas

You've got a flat, but you don't need me to bring you a spare tire to you. I've fell for your lies over and over again

When I started to think twice about what you said. I shook it off saying you loved me

You started getting calls in the night when you came back into the room

I asked who it was, you answered my boss or my brother

My mama or a friend from work. I shook it off but after a month

I started asking questions you'd say

My boss wants me to work overtime. My brother needs my help tomorrow

My mother was making sure I made it home safely.
