You called me up to see if I was in town

Said you were missing the ocean

We drove for hours just to reach the beach

We stripped down to out underwear with the sand beneath our feet

And we dove in, with the moon lighting up the night

We dove in, and watched phosphorescent fish float by.

And I hope that god and heaven are what you thought they'd be
