Red Brick House

I've slept in the same bed since I was three years old

A white frame, canopy, and a butterfly that's lilac and gold

So many things have changed throughout my room, but that one thing's stayed the same

Now I may never sleep in the same bed again

The playset in my backyard was my home for imagination

A pirate ship or palace

Whatever the sun rays of that day said to me

As I sat up high I dreamt of a life far from my backyard

But a city replaced the playground while my fantasy was barred

Oh you never realize what you're gonna miss
