They will never say anything validating

Of your experience and that is very isolating

They don't mean harm, but what they do is suffocating

When for the wrong thing they're always advocating

When it comes to abuse

They'll say it takes two

There's something that you did to make it happen to you

People that say that stupid s*** they just don't know what to do

They'd rather make you disappear than have to deal with the truth

Admitting that is scarier so they make all these barriers

And be like Pollyanna and pretend everyone's happier
