I get lost lost and alone in my head

Find it in yourself to remind you what’s left

Read between the lines of the poems that you left

and you tell yourself that nothing lasts forever

Will we be together

I won’t wait for the day to never to show you what you’re missing well I don’t wanna listen

To the voice tenderly oh the ground is where I’ll be will you be next to me

You hum along while I sing

and tell me everything that you saw in your dream

In the morning light it bleeds through up my sleeve and I tell myself that nothing lasts forever
