Son of a Serpent

I was born from the remnants of the Tree of Knowledge

Risen from the ashes I asked God to keep me solid so I

Never doubt, always put my trust in Him

Even though the venom from my fangs might make me sin

But I keep it pushing I try not to focus on the fruit

When Eve ate the apple I could feel the world pollute

Adam was seduced, tempted by a different fruit

Expelled from the garden left without a way, to refute

Ecdysis to grow again I gotta shed my skin

Never stagnant like a snake but I be cold just like a mannequin

Expressionless, you can't see a thing that's in my eyes, but

Feel the cold gaze while I plot and plan on your demise
