Master of the Sea

Master, the tempest is raging, the billows are tossing high.

The sky is over shadowed with darkness, no shelter or help is nigh.

Do You care if we perish? How can You sleep,

When each moment so madly threatens a grave in the deep?

Master, with anguish of my spirit, I bow in grief.

The depths of my sad heart are troubled oh, oh awaken and save I pray. I pray!

Torrents of sin and anguish sweep over my sinking soul

And I perish! I perish! Master, hasten and take control!

The winds and the waves shall obey My will! Peace, oh peace, be still, be still.

Whether storm tossed waves, or whatever it may be,
