And I swear it never used to be like this I used to be a kid thinking bout a life of

benefits I mean I really did Innocence more present than a gift

Believing that this country was legit

On my on kind it was built on they backbone

Who knew we was that strong Got the nerve to tell us to go back home,

But where did they come from? Spend my money on them black owned

Businesses, government created systems To do us in,

Told us not to act like victims To what they did

Plans of filtering the history they teach the kids

If they could just erase their biggest mistakes

They'll build up utopia on top of our graves I mean
