Through a window I see the girl of my dreams

A hammer I have in my hands

As I wallop and whack, I take a step back

And see that the window still stands

Until I provide my true self the time

For acceptance, no matter the weather

That window remains, and I still feel the pain

Of being alone and together

There's a long way forward, and a longer way back

I'm far less lost than I am found
