I'm tired of running, I'm too slow to win

Oh, I can't quite remember what I'm running from again

So I'll just take a sip of coffee, let the trouble come right in

Sometimes we're just lost before we begin

I had some high hopes, then I fell on further down

Tried to get back on the saddle, but that horse ran out of town

So I picked myself up, and dust off my crown

Sometimes we're better lost than found

I've studied all the windows, the sunlight through the blinds

Measured all the shadows about seven or eight times
