Cocaine Cowboy was shooting his guns

Chasin' vaqueros and scaring the nuns

He ran out of bullets so he switched to gasoline

Set fire to the town and fled the scene

"Cocaine Cowboy, listen here now boy," said the sheriff while pointing his gun

"You're coming with me, I won't hear your plea, since too long you've been on the run."

"I'll be a hero, you'll be a zero, your time running free is done!"

The cowboy snuck around while the sheriff was loud

Today was a day he had won

Cocaine Cowboy came upon a man

Blind as a bat, out in the sand
