This summer I'm looking back

Reflecting on my happiness finding reasons to laugh

Remembering anxiety is a thought and it's never facts, it's hard

Leaving the stress for tomorrow

Leaving the checks at the mall

Retail therapy been my latest vice

I bring it up like a problem but never want advice

I should be happy, I'm buying the things that's near to me

Neglecting it's a flex and did most out of insecurity

I'm passionate about it though

If you don't know the shade we overcame, you'll never understand the glow

My therapist told me to give back to my younger self, recognize the fear that I used to have and then let it go
