There's somethings I control other things I'll never know

Been reaching for a star that I know I'll never hold

I sacrificed my happiness to make it to my goals

Yet I'm still waiting patiently alone here in the cold

I feel my soul has been frozen I used to be so outgoing

Now I just sit here in silence and try to conjure emotion

But I don't know should I continue down this road

It's seeming so overrated now that I see what I'm faced with

So many things I would change up but I just don't have the patience

To let it go so it's tearing at my soul
