Good Ground

A wise man once said, our lives are like the seed you sow

It can be choked by the thorns or scorched by the sun, so be careful where it blows

But he also said, there is life for the ones who know

You can plant it deep in the ground, water all around and watch that seed begin to grow

Let's be the good ground here in our small town, showing the Lord's grace in every place

Cause if we don't, who will? we're not gonna sit still. How else will we make a change

We're called to be the good ground, so let's be the good ground

I wanna be a doer, not just a hearer. I wanna be the one that stands tall when this world begins to fall

You're always there when I need you, no matter what I go through
