Headed back from Tahoe on another Saturday night

I can't believe the city lights are already in sight

I've been worried, how you doing so far

So despondent, I respond and you're already hopping out of the car

Well, it's the last lash laughing as we look to the score

I quip and quaver, then I pay for what I've said in scorn

This time is different though, cause you're the one with foot in mouth

I still convince myself somehow that I had made it go south

I guess we'll have to wait to work this out another time

Well, I'm just sitting, sipping on my ginger beer with vodka and lime
