    Q: So, Joey, who is your inspiration for making art?

    Joey: Leonardo da Vinci

    Q: Why was he an inspiration to you?

    Joey: He was a polymath, he was skilled in many different areas such as painting, sculpture,

    engineering and science. He’s a unique inspiration for me. Leonardo da Vinci pays attention

    to details. He study and dissect human and animal anatomy in order to understand how

    they work and to create more realistic art. He creates the illusion of depth and space in two-

    dimensional images. This technique is something that I have been working on in improving

    in my own art. I am also inspired by Leonardo’s curiosity, he was constantly experimenting,

    trying out new ideas. I want to become a great artist like him.
