20-somethings, those hazy summer nights

Climb up the swings, asking questions 'bout Jesus Christ

I'd swear we lit a bonfire every night of the week

Sometimes I still smell the smoke on my clothes

Came home for Christmas, you always made the time

No need for presents, just good friends laughing and smiling

At my parent's table, as late as we're able, drinking decaf coffee

You never did drink coffee

I don't remember getting into a fight

I don't recall saying words we didn't put right

I couldn't tell you the time or the day
