I've been from here to there and back again, from the tip of Maine down to Miami

I've had cali nights rise into pheonix days or was I Chicago lost in a midtown haze

Yea I've seen the sights and my share of fights, every sweat soaked stage under the buzzing lights

All My Life laid out on the line, I swear I ain't lying bout what I've seen, with my sweet baby blues

Ive seen the women and the drugs both are dangerous stuff, you could get a taste and not want to give it up

Used to drown myself in drink, thought that I couldn't sink, then the world went and got the best of me

Almost took my life back at 24, took awhile to find the self that I was looking for
