El Cucuy

Deep in the shadows lurks a presence so foul

Whose name you may heard whispered before

He's the reason for the shivers up the spines of grown men

When skies are dark and there are creaks from the door

His blood red eyes are shrouded by the hat that he wears

A tattered cloak, his mangled body beneath

He wears a long black scarf to hide his cavernous mouth

And bits of flesh caught in his razor sharp teeth

So hold your loved ones tight

The moon is shining bright

Cucuy comes tonight
