Old Broken World

The lock is broken or the key don't work

I'm trapped inside this body spinning with the Earth

I built my own escape room but now I cannot find the door

The funniest part is the irony

Of feeling safest in a place where you can't be free

It's complicated living as a human being that's for sure

It's the people we are closest to we hurt the most

Like a parasite inside turning on the host

It's a tragic situation but who doesn't love a tragedy?

Sometimes a blessing can become a curse

And sometimes if you're lucky that can be reversed
