Peter Saw a Ghost

One stormy night, the waves crashed into our boat

And over my head. That's when I saw the ghost

It was walking on the water--it seemed to float - I was terrified

That's when it spoke to me and said "Be of good cheer, it is I."

And I said, "If it is You, then command me to walk on the water with You."

And He said one word, and I was over the edge in the water

He said "Come." He said "Come."

He said "Come." He said "Come."

Oh the waves they crashed around, some even touched my face

Lightning flashed in the sky, and the wind blew in furious rage

That's when I looked away—away from Jesus' face
