The Hiding

Here, here in the hiding, amongst the lulls

Among the signs that we've been given to slow down

Will you come along, will you come around?

Here, here from my living room

I have watched as we run frightened from the outside

Like children on the brink of separation

The answers we've been given have their hands tied

Here from my tower I was once a prince

But reading people never has come easy
