When you say I don't love you anymore

My lung searches for air so my tongue is ready to debunk your truth

I call it your truth because it's different from my truth

But my brain takes me back to my youth and

I confirm that it is the truth neither yours nor mine

You bore me in your belly for nine months, I ate what you ate

Determined when you slept because we were conjoined like jelly

Gave you sleepless nights kicking your belly

Because right from the belly I had been selfish

Your belly became my comfort zone

Coming out would mean discomfort for me hence
