I fell back again into bed prior to twilight

Sapped and stifled of life heavy limbs and fickle eyesight why fight it

My room is an intoxicant ambition inhibitor

Attention fixed on a television bottomless pit

I'm slipping in this inactive enacting an apathy

Apollo granted a masterpiece that I squandered away just to catch some sleep

I lost count of the sheep but domesticated both sides of the fence

Outdated awake when asleep timeless again

My mind is a den dimly lit and an alarm clock nagging at me

Proclaiming a hatch into happiness

But the fact of it is it's just some incompetent playwright

Staged insofar to prop the shade and less nod to the light
