Bliss

Broke into the silence with a scream of many tongues

Had the rest sit silent so they wouldn't hafta run

Taking things in stride was never my strong suit

No way to predict there'd be such hated for it oh yeah

Money wasn't helping anyone keep on breathing

The rivers ran with slime the kitchen was deserted

Places that were sacred had long ago been burned

There was no act of mercy we had no feel for shame oh yeah

The only ones who felt were the ones who hadn't aged

But age was not a teacher it had choked on its own lies
