At 24

At twenty-four you should be living By yourself, not in your mama's House

At twenty-four you should be having A degree and probably a job you do

You should have mastered a skill or Two, made some great great friends

A savings account, you should be Deeply in love or at least engaged

And your wedding is this December

Is there a manual or something? I'm trying to figure it out, it's my first time here

Or it's a job with a job description, But ain't qualified

Trust me I'm on to something, Maybe it's just not my time

Every dog has its day

I'm alive and that is good enough, And I'm giving my best anyway
