Celebrate

The earth was grim and dark and cold awaiting prophecies foretold

Of a Messiah who would reign forever changing everything

Then came a glimmering hope of light

A shining star cut through the night

Leading to a manger bed where our Savior lay his head

We can celebrate who you are and the hope that you brought to the world

We can celebrate that you came to save us all

We can celebrate in your birth so that we can be born once again

We can celebrate in the promises of God

Now who would think a king of kings would enter in in such a way
