Cruising nightly, windows down, cold like Icees

Too many miles, but I need it for my psyche

Too many trials, weighing heavy, don't take lightly

I feel the same, but don't think there's anyone like me

Got some nicks in armor, but I'm feeling mighty

Lead the charge, people show love like they're Spike Lee

Duck the groupthink, that does not excite me

People I don't know probably want to fight me

I'm fighting, to clear the slate. Always was taught to clear my plate

Everywhere I go my peers are late. Things take more than they appear to take

Perfectionist, it's gotta be great. Still making too many mistakes
