You died we put you up on the Christmas tree

Your embers blown away but yo you aren't gone officially

Because there'll never be a day where you aren't part of my history

I almost crashed the whip the day I found out

Round about six or maybe later at the towns mouth I drowned out

Everything around me and I felt a piece die

Because I told you if I knew just what to do then that's a lie

I never saw you enough, sure I saw you and stuff

But that was years ago when I was barely tall as a shrub

When I got older I got colder. so I got off your shoulders

And left you back in time to only stay where the cold is
