The sun is shining in my frames and yes it's blinding me again

Reflecting light onto the fragments and the stains

Of red that I have shed from being sane enough

To do this thing and stay in touch

With values that I cared for as a student in the days above

And since I see the world now in sepia tone

I'm writing backwards when I scribble notes I keep in my phone

I see the world through music so it makes sense I use it

Until the muses I abuse put on their shoes and dip, yo

They ran until the view of them was gone

But I never lost the hope I'd fit their phantoms in this song

They float above as ghosts taunting me until I scramble for the ropes
