Every Monday feeling emptier than my holey pockets bare, now that’s saying something,

I rebuild the keep throughout the week, brick by brick, sentiment by sentiment,

Like if you are you and I am me then I guess these words can be the space where worlds collide,

Because what else are we to do but to be each other’s muse,

But just like the phoenix reborn,

The dusk brings dawn around once more,
